-Cheese Meatball and Pasta

Cooking Time: 40 minutes
1 jar (24 ounces) pasta sauce with meat
1 large Egg, lightly beaten
1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 carton (15 ounces) part-skim ricotta cheese
1/2 package (12 ounces) frozen fully cooked Italian meatballs, thawed
1/2 package (16 ounces) mostaccioli, cooked according to package
Instructions and drained
1/2-pound ground beef
1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
1/4 cup shaved Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Minced fresh parsley or fresh baby arugula, optional
1) Lightly grease baking pan of air fryer with cooking spray. Add beef and onions.
2) Cook for 10 minutes at 330
oF, stirring and crumbling halfway through cooking
3) Drain excess fat. Stir in sugar and seasoning.
4) Mix in pasta and sauce. Mix well.
5) Remove half of mixture and transfer to a plate. Evenly spread half of ricotta
mixture and half of Romano cheese. Return half of pasta. Evenly spread
remaining ricotta and Romano. Top with meatballs and Parmesan.
6) Cover with foil.
7) For 20 minutes, cook on 390
8) Remove foil cook for 10 minutes more until tops are lightly browned.
